A Word on Jesus

Jesus is so opposite of everything that we know, He pursues us when we are lost, He loves us when we are far away, and He died for us, as if we were the only one. Sometimes I can’t fully fathom all that entails. I look at my sin-stained self, and want to turn the lights off, but Jesus turned the lights on, and He doesn’t see me the way I see myself. He doesn’t see you the way you see yourself either. He loves you, even if you don’t love him. That’s grace. That’s love.

I don’t know what your life looks like, I don’t know what giants you face, but I do know that Jesus is great, His Word is true, and He loves you.

You can know peace. You can know hope. You can know love. You can know mercy. You can know truth.

You can know Jesus.

He is the total answer for your every need.

He loved you, knowing you may never love Him.

He chose you, knowing you may never chose Him.

On the cross, you were on His mind.

Because of Him, you can live with the lights on.
